When you need help
After eighteen it can feel that you are alone, struggling to come to terms with childhood or adolescent experiences that have had a negative impact on you and who you are. Family relationships might be fractured and home might not feel safe. It might be you realise the choices you are making are not good for you, and that you are looking for affirmation and love in the wrong places and from the wrong people - but you don’t know how to make sense of who you are or what you are doing, and change feels impossible – and you don’t know where to start.
Therapy could be a start - of getting to know who you are and why you behave as you do, of understanding what motivates you and what it is that could enable you to lead a fuller and more meaningful life.
